News From Uganda

The first day of meetings in Lira, Uganda was beyond expression. Milton just could not say enough in his attempt to try and relay the enthusiasm, the hunger, the attentiveness of the people and the moving of The Holy Spirit. They are taking “tons” of notes. The worship time before and after the teaching was wonderful. 

 

When Milton got out of the car so many came running up to him with hugs. He was so loved on that he forgot how tired he was from the long trip to get there. 

 

 

He and the translator “flowed as one voice”.   Milton said it was incredible.

 

This report is so wonderful as the people have invested many hours of prayer for this week and the results of this first day is the outcome of diligence regarding what is important to the Lord. Sam who is the hosting pastor rented a tent for the overflow and had a huge banner made welcoming Dr. Milton McElvain. The amazing thing about all this preparation is the financial investment which they were willing to make.
