Herald of Faith

We want to thank God for his goodness and all of you for your faithful support, prayers, and financial giving! I’m so excited to share all God did in Honduras when Debbie and I were there from February 9-15. We were able to have Leadership training at the Filadelfia Church. We also had Pastoral training and a time of encouragement. Sunday, I preached and shared part of my testimony of how God radically changed my life in 1988. At the end of my message, a young man named Jefry walked straight to the altar with tears streaming down his face. The local pastor recognized Jefry as a young man who sold drugs all day and night just a few feet away from the church door entrance. Jefry gave his life to Jesus! He asked for prayer for his brother, who is about to receive a life sentence. Just remembering this moment brings tears to my eyes. Pray for Jefry that his faith in Jesus will continue to grow.

This past weekend Debbie and I visited a small, tiny town in Baja, Mexico named El Rosario. Debbie was invited to speak to the women in this small town. We met Pastor Juan Luis and his wife, Elva, when we arrived. This was a divine connection. The more we talked, the more Pastor Juan Luis opened up his heart and shared some struggles he’s had as a Pastor. By the time the day ended, and the women’s ministry came to an end, the Pastor we had met 8 hours earlier in the day was a completely different man. His posture was different; his face glowed, and his spirit was on fire! We take great joy in sharing, but the glory only belongs to God. Only God, through His mighty Spirit, can breathe life into dry bones. We are humbled by how God orchestrates every detail, nothing goes to waste, and He uses ALL things for His purpose and glory!

Steve Fitzpatrick and I will travel to Nicaragua from March 7 – 15.

We have been trying to get back there since 2020, but we trust God’s perfect timing. We are excited for the students graduating from The Herald of Faith Bible Institute. We will also preach at several churches we have been involved with for many years.

Please prayerfully consider sowing a seed. The harvest is ready! Keep us in your prayers as I travel but also for Debbie as she stays home with our girls.

Planned Trips 2023: Nicaragua, Mexico (multiple sites), Philippines, Guatemala, Honduras, and to where the Lord leads us.
